Standish The Schubert Theorem 2020

The Standish The Schubert Theorem 2020 is a red wine made by shiraz sourced from various sections of Marananga's Schubert Vineyard. Between 1994 and 1999, it was planted on its own roots. The soils are reddish earths with eroded crystalline quartz protrusions that range in elevation from 272-296m above sea level.

The Schubert Theorem is part of the 'knot theory' branch of mathematics. It states that any knot can be decomposed uniquely as the connected sum of prime knots. This wine, appropriately titled, deconstructs the Schubert family vineyard into distinct sections, extracting the best elements from each and reassembling them to connect and enhance their strengths.
